    How does the online CO2 exchange work?

    Choose the cylinder type compatible to your Sparkling Drink Maker & the number of full exchange cylinders you need - minimum of 2. Free shipping applies to orders over $75; otherwise, $9 shipping applies to 2 full cylinders.

    Return your empty cylinders in the same box back to Sodastream. Request return. Use the same email address from the order & provide your order number.

    Drop off the box with 2 or more empty cylinders at Australia Post. Free return shipping, Australia wide.

    Sparkle Note: Please remember to return an empty cylinder for each refill cylinder you have ordered. If you do not return the empty cylinder(s) within the allotted 60 days from the date your refill order was shipped, or if you do not have any empty cylinders to return, we will have to charge you an additional $16 for each unreturned cylinder.

    Do I have to be home to receive my order?

    No, your full cylinders will be delivered via courier.

    Once you are ready to send your empties back, register our return online, then drop the package at your local post office. Free return shipping!

    Where can I find the return label to exchange my cylinders?

    Enter your order number and email, confirm the number of empty cylinders, 2 or more.

    Choose to print your label at home, or Australia Post can print for your when you drop off your packed empty cylinders.

    Sparkle Note: Make sure to return an empty cylinder for each refill cylinder you have ordered to avoid additional charges.

    What is the estimated delivery time?

    Orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days.

    Can I change my mind & keep the spares?

    Yes!. If you decide to keep spares, we will simply charge you $16 per cylinder, after 60* days of purchase.

    Why didn’t I get my deposit / refund back?

    With the online exchange model, we only charge for the CO2 up front! There is no deposit charge.

    Once we receive your empty cylinders back, we don’t charge you further and therefore no refund is required.

    A charge of $16 per cylinder is only going to made if we do not receive your empty cylinders back within 60* days of purchase. We will of course refund you if you send cylinders back after you have been charged.

    How to return your empty cylinders?

    1. Start your return

    Enter your order number and email, confirm the number of empty cylinders, 2 or more. Choose to print your label at home or in-store.

    2. Pack your cylinders

    Place your 2 or more empty cylinders together in the same box and keep your tracking number for reference. Pro tip: Take a photo of your return label to easily track your return.

    3. Drop it off
