The Sodastream Classic is a cordless sparkling water maker designed for easy, everyday fizz. Its simple push-button carbonation lets you control the amount of fizz in your sparkling water, while its compact design makes it easy to place around your kitchen.
The Sodastream Classic features Sodastream’s Quick Connect system for easy CO2 cylinder insertion, as well as an easy bottle attachment system that allows you to easily connect the carbonating bottle to the machine without the need to screw it into place.

What drinks can I make with the Sodastream Classic?

The Sodastream Classic is designed to carbonate water. Once your water is carbonated, you can add a Sodastream drink mix to create a range of flavoured sparkling drinks at home.
Always carbonate water before adding your drink mix syrup. Unlike the Sodastream MIX®, Classic is not designed to carbonate other drinks such as juice or wine directly.

How do I use the Sodastream Classic sparkling water maker?

To use the Sodastream Classic, fill a compatible Sodastream carbonating bottle with cold water up to the fill line and secure it in the machine using the easy bottle attachment system. Press the carbonation button three times for standard fizz or five times for stronger fizz.
Once you've finished carbonating, remove the bottle and enjoy your sparkling water or add your chosen Sodastream drink mix to create a flavoured fizzy drink.

Can I choose the carbonation level with the Sodastream Classic?

Yes. The Sodastream Classic lets you adjust the amount of carbonation to suit your taste. Press the carbonation button three times for standard fizz or five times for stronger fizz.

Does the Sodastream Classic need electricity?

No. The Sodastream Classic is a cordless sparkling water maker and does not need electricity to carbonate your water. It uses a CO2 cylinder for carbonation, so you can easily place it anywhere in your kitchen.

Which CO2 cylinder is compatible with the Sodastream Classic?

The Sodastream Classic is compatible with the pink Sodastream Quick Connect CO2 cylinder. The Quick Connect system is designed for simple cylinder connection, so you can click the cylinder into place without screwing it in.
The Sodastream Classic is not compatible with the blue Screw-In CO2 cylinder.

How long does a CO2 cylinder last with the Sodastream Classic?

A Sodastream CO2 cylinder can make up to 60L of sparkling water with the Sodastream Classic. The exact amount will depend on your preferred carbonation level and how much fizz you add to each drink.
When it's time for a refill, you can exchange your CO2 cylinder and continue making fresh sparkling water and fizzy drinks at home.

Which bottles are compatible with the Sodastream Classic?

The Sodastream Classic is designed for use with compatible Sodastream reusable carbonating bottles. The easy-bottle attachment allows you to connect the carbonating bottle to the machine without the need to screw it into place.
The Sodastream Classic is not designed for use with Sodastream glass carbonating bottles. If using a different Sodastream bottle, check its compatibility with Sodastream Classic before carbonating.

We deliver to most MAINLAND areas - In the case where freight surcharges are excessive, the buyer can contact Sodastream and given the opportunity to pay an additional freight charge. Please note delivery times will be longer during public holidays (Christmas, Easter etc.) and we don't currently deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel lockers or addresses outside of mainland Australia. All orders for these locations will be cancelled and refunded. Orders from our website are final and returns or refunds will not be accepted unless faulty. Faulty goods will only be accepted for return with the inclusion of a receipt. Sparkle Note: All of our Sparkling Water Makers come with a 2-year warranty.
