Our CO2 and cylinders are compliant with all Australian guidelines, specifications and regulations.
The first step of that journey is Pick Up. Our network of over 1,200 trucks and drivers from around Australia make their way to our retail doors to collect all of SodaStream's empty cylinders.
All SodaStream Cylinders are Triple Quality Checked.
Once a cylinder is returned to our Melbourne based warehouse for refilling, our trained and certified staff sort them visually for damages and deformities to ensure they are in perfect condition before they are emptied, flushed with CO2 to clean the inside, and drained again.
Cleaning process complete, our automated filling line carefully weighs each cylinder before and after filling them with CO2.
Each Cylinder makes up to 60 litres of Sparkling Water!*
After cylinders are refilled, each one is put through an automated leak test, have valve caps attached, batch details printed on their caps, and a tamper evident seal affixed to make sure that when you purchase your refill cylinder, it is in perfect condition and completely safe for use with your SodaStream sparkling water maker.

Back on shelves in over 6000 stores around Australia.
A last visual inspection is undertaken before our cylinders are boxed up and loaded for dispatch via our local transport network and delivered to over 6500 locations around Australia.
